Abie
Abie was a Jewish boy.
His father said, "My son.
You must be circumcised, you know!"
And that was duly done.
At school, his bandaged member
Collided with the fence.
Tears sprang to Abie's eyes,
The pain was so intense.
Head teacher, ever vigilant,
Inspected Abie's wound.
Blood seeped through the bandage
And the teacher nearly swooned.
Marching in to school
With bandaged member hanging out
Caused a great sensation.
This made the teacher shout
"Abie, what the devil.
What's this all about?"
Abie answered truthfully
"The fence gave me a clout.
I've seen the Master, Sir."
Said Abie with a groan.
"He said to stick it out till lunch,
Then I can go home!"
