With our PC, laods of probs trying to log on or even just start up. Sandra had to ring Dell last night. She was on the phone for half an hour going through menu's only to be told there was nothing wrong with the hard drive. They said it was a software problem and to ring another dept. between 9-6 pm today, they also said there may be a nominal fee.
I may not be on for a time, with any luck it will be resolved shorly with any luck. Tokk me ages just to get on here, luck I could do that.

What a performance, we eventually as once before have to reboot the whole system wehave lost loads of files even trying to get back in here was a performance.
The problem is when you go back to factory default everything goes back as you know to that time.
One good thing Dell agreed we didn't have to pay, it would have been £34.

Thanks all but lost loads of stuff like all my Favs. That didn't happen last time when we had to reboot with aol. Lost files but not my Favs. Will have to try and find them all again. We did back up for some Pics. but too many to do them all.
Managed to save your Gate Lyn. just in case. It's Sandra I feel sorry for she lost loads of her photography snaps.
I remember this happening to Funk at one stage too.
Never mind just hope we manage to get all the old setting right.

It's a damn nuisance when you lose all your favourites etc, but Sandra must be devastated to lose all her photographs. Jason always copies his onto discs just in case we ever have computer trouble again.

We did do some back ups Lyn. but the problem is there was there was so many. Trouble is there is 4 of using our own settings and files. We are getting there slowly. |
