"Britain's Got Talent" - Tale From A Reject! This 'top' prog. has now ended... and I can breathe a sigh of relief now... because ironically, I've become famous because of it! "Why, were you on it?" they cry... Well no - I failed to get on it, and having heard how BAD some of the stuff on there has been, then that in itself is an achievement of a kind... to have been SO POOR that you DIDN'T get on there... Yep, yet again someone said to me yesterday: "God, how BAD must you have been not to get on that? You want to se some of the sh*te they've had on!!!"As someone who strives to be a 'cr*p comedian' who deliberately at times uses poor material (harder than it sounds finding the dregs and detritus to use) then this is only to be expected... but also, as an attention-seeking 'comedy wannabee' it's also bruised my ego, which has lost another 15 p.s.i. of pressure (i.e. it's deflated again). Anyhow - if you've survived this sedating text, click on the link below to hear me wallow in self-pity, but also hopefully to have a laugh about it - yet another mad incident to add to my 'comedy seevee'. Loved the bit about the talented Plumber with the bathroom. ;D You probably didn't see this thread N. but I loved the show. It was only a spin off from the U.S. one. Ant and Dec. were a lot better presenting it than here wotshername who use to work with them. Thread.

I'll be honest N - I didn't see hardly any of the show - but the bits I did see left me thinking - "I can't believe this act made it and N didn't" I never once thought "how sh*te must N have been to not get on there". You know I think that maybe they just felt your material wasn't right for the gig? Because I think you HAVE got talent - you're extremely funny! So there!

lol, cheers for th comments of support - I'll put the rope back in the garage for now! I do find it comical re: the "how sh*te were ye?" thing... it's kond of got me famous but for the wrong reasons really... I'm happy enough though, I did a 'humour therapy' session in Scotland not long back and that went well - plus I'm game enough to keep getting up and having a try, so ye have to admire my 'ability not to learn'! Plus the fact the number of entrants in each city was unbelievable. It tooks hours upon hours before they got to see the panel as you will know N.
