Peter Kay holds on to top spot
PETER Kay's Comic Relief single has managed to retain its spot at the top of the UK Top 40 chart.
His version of The Proclaimers' I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), performed by Phoenix Nights' character Brian Potter and Little Britain's Andy Pipkin, beat off stiff competition from Canadian star, Avril Lavigne.
It marks the second week at the top for Kay, who has also seen chart success with a version of Tony Christie's Is This The Way To (Amarillo
