Shane Richie "suicide note" sparks panic Monday, February 12 2007, 17:08 GMT
Shane Richie's landlady spread mass panic around his employers and friends, after she found a suicide note on his bed.
The note, which was a prop for his new comedy-drama The Good Samaritan, read: "This world is too much for me. I can't go on with all the disastrous things that keep happening around me".
On finding it, Richie's landlady immediately called his TV company to warn them of the situation.
"The suicide note was part of a script," Richie laughed. "But the landlady called the TV company because she was convinced I was going to jump off a bridge or something. It really was very funny afterwards when the producers called me to check that everything was OK."
